I am a South Jersey native and went to elementary and high school in Haddonfield. I spent my Senior year of high school in Brazil as an AFS Exchange student and still love to speak Portuguese whenever I have the chance. I have a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Temple University. After graduating from Temple University, I served as a lieutenant in the National Health Service Corp and was assigned to the Charleston Speech and Hearing Center in Charleston, South Carolina. I returned to New Jersey and was in clinical practice until 2011 when I came to Johnson. I have a passion for working with all students who have a communication needs, and working at Johnson has been the most rewarding position of my career. I am a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and have my Certificate of Clinical Competency. I hold licenses in Speech-Language Pathology in New Jersey, California, Texas, and Alaska. My dream is to spend a summer working with Alaskan children. I currently live in Marlton, NJ with my son, Kevin and our dog, Wolfie, I love hiking, going to the shore, gardening, speaking Portuguese, and travelling. No matter what I am doing, I always have a book with me because reading is my favorite thing to do!
